Walk & Talk Extra- Bursledon Train and Walk
Starting with a Train journey from Bursledon and returning on foot (6km)
22 April: To Hamble. From Hamble station we will walk along the Rail Trail to the Quay for a comfort break and return across the old airfield. Meet at Bursledon station for the 10.20 train to Hamble
13 May: To Netley- stopping off at Royal Victoria Country Park for a comfort break and going along the Rail Trail, across the fields to Hound Road and along the edge of Priors Copse. We will cross Hamble Lane and walk through Pilands Wood estate and Old Bursledon.
Train tickets must be purchased in advance. Bring or buy refreshments
There is uneven ground in places. Sturdy footwear and walking sticks are advisable.

Walk & Talk Extra- Hamble Peninsula
Hamble Circular -leading from Hamble along the coastal path to Royal Victoria Country Park and back via the Rail Trail. Meet in Roy Underdown Pavilion car park
We will be stopping for a short comfort break along the route. Bring or buy refreshments.
The terrain will be shingle for part of the way so walking sticks may be useful in addition to sturdy footwear and suitable clothing for the weather conditions

A 6km walk going through Westwood nature reserve, alongside the railway and back through Netley village stopping off for a comfort break in Royal Victoria Country Park
Meet in the car park of Abbey Hall or there is further parking on Beach Road.
As the focus of the walks is to spot wildlife, dogs are not permitted.
Sturdy footwear is advisable. It may be muddy after rain

Walk and Talk - IVCP
A friendly group who meet for a walk and talk in the park. The walk is up to 3km in distance at a relaxed pace. It is mostly on surfaced tracks but sometimes includes walking up a slope and after rain the ground conditions can be slippery. Walking boots and sticks are recommended.

A guided walk to meet new people, chat and explore the Country Park.
The walk is aimed at people who are new to walking or have mobility problems. It is a distance of up to 2 km at a slow pace.
Parking is free
Refreshments are available for the cost of £1 for a hot drink and a biscuit. Cash only please

Walk and Talk Bursledon
Join a circular guided walk at a relaxed pace around Old Bursledon. This walk is 2.5km and is of moderate difficulty as it has slopes with uneven ground.
Some of the walk is along unsurfaced path and can be quite muddy in places. Walking boots/wellies are advisable.
As the focus of the walks is to spot wildlife, dogs are not permitted.
Refreshments are provided. There is limited seating next to the car park so feel free to bring a deck chair for your comfort.

Join a circular guided walk of 3km passing through Hamble Village; through The Common and along the coastal path. Ground conditions are uneven in places and the footpath can be very wet after rain and high tide. Walking boots/wellies are advisable.
