Bursledon to Hamble Linear Walk and Train Back
Join an 7km linear walk on the Hamble Peninsula, starting at Bursledon station and returning by train from Hamble station. We will stop off in Hamble for a refreshment break
We will meet at Bursledon station at 10.15 so that people can arrive by train and aim to get the 13:04 train back from Hamble
Sturdy footwear and clothing to protect from the weather is recommended. Bring water and any medication you might need
Please don't bring dogs
If the weather forecast is for high winds, thunderstorms or heavy rain the walk will be cancelled the day before by email

Walk and Talk - IVCP
A friendly group who meet for a walk and talk in the park. The walk is up to 3 km in distance at a relaxed pace. It is mostly on surfaced tracks but sometimes includes walking up a slope and after rain the ground conditions can be slippery. Walking boots/wellies and sticks are recommended.

A guided walk to meet new people, chat and explore the Country Park. The walk is a distance of up to 2 km at a relaxed pace.

Refreshments are available for the cost of £1 for a hot drink and a biscuit. Cash only please

Walk and Talk Bursledon
Join a circular guided walk at a relaxed pace around Old Bursledon. This walk is 2.5km and is of moderate difficulty as it has slopes with uneven ground.
Some of the walk is along unsurfaced path and can be quite muddy in places. Walking boots/wellies are advisable.
As the focus of the walks is to spot wildlife, dogs are not permitted. (The walk at Lakeside is open to dogs on leads)
Refreshments are provided. There is limited seating next to the car park so feel free to bring a deck chair for your comfort.

Walk and Talk Hamble
Join a circular guided walk of 3km passing through Hamble common and along the coastal path. Ground conditions are uneven in places and the footpath can be very wet after rain and high tide. Walking boots/wellies are advisable.
We have refreshments in the Mercury Hub after the walk
As the focus of the walks is to spot wildlife, dogs are not permitted on the walks. (The walk at Lakeside is open to dogs on leads)
Meeting place- The Mercury Library and Hub on High Street in Hamble. Parking is available on Copse Lane.

Craft and Natter- Pyrography and Wet Felting
Crafts Pyrography (wood burning) and Wet Felting will be available to try in The Hide.
We will use pliers to change the tips on the wood burning tool. It will be hot so a leather glove will be available.
You may want to bring your own heatproof glove.
We use olive oil soap for felting. Felting is not suitable for anyone with a lanolin allergy.

The workshop led by Irene is a beginners guide to Quilling but will also suit improvers.

Watercolour Wellbeing Workshop
The workshop will be a mixture of watercolour painting and yoga breathwork.
A Yoga mat is required. If you are unable to lie on the floor a chair can be used. Wear clothing suitable for movement.
Please write on the booking form if you have any injuries, or anything that may cause you discomfort, that the leader should be aware of e.g Neck & Shoulder Tension / Back Ache / Trouble Sleeping / Stress / Anxiety
If you are pregnant, have high or low blood pressure or have detached retina please make sure to talk to the leader before class.
Refreshments- coffee and a selection of teas will be available. There will be a 30 minute lunch break and a vegetarian buffet will be provided. Add any dietary conditions to the booking form.
